Apple is an amazing company; one that through the years has grown to be the largest in the world by market capitalization. When it comes to binary options trading, they also tend to bring several opportunities! One of the biggest opportunities we see out of the stock each and every year comes tomorrow! So today, we'll talk about what the event is, why it's so big for the company, and how you can take advantage of the trends that are likely to start tomorrow!
Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference Is Historically A Big Day To Sell
Tomorrow is the day of the big annual Worldwide Developers Conference. The conference has been held annually since 1997; and has historically been a big sell day for the stock. As a matter of fact, since 2002, the stock has sold off quite a bit following the event. So tomorrow, we're likely to see massive gains if the history of the event is any indication of what we can expect for the future of it.
Why Is The Event So Important For Investors?
The Worldwide Developers Conference isn't a small event. It's the event where the company unveils the latest and greatest in innovation; this is when they show off the new products that they've been working on for the past year. Every iPhone, iPad, iOS update, and just about every new product the company has released since 1997 has been announced at this conference. Keeping that in mind, this conference is huge for the fundamental trader. Knowing what products are coming, what they do, and when they hit the market gives the fundamental trader an inside peek at what to expect.
How To Make Money By Trading Apple This Week
This week is going to present several opportunities for profitable Apple options. Here's what you can do to take advantage of the trends and turn them to dollars…
Tomorrow And Tuesday – History tells us that this event will most likely cause negative trends tomorrow through Tuesday. Nonetheless, whether the trend is positive or negative, it's going to be a big one. So, watch the stock closely around the time of the event; making sure to wait until a clear trend becomes apparent. Once the trend is clear, start trading call options if the stock is moving up (Least Likely Scenario) or start trading put options if the stock is trending down (Highly Likely).
Wednesday – It's important to remember that price movement in the market is a series of overreactions. Therefore, after big gains or big losses, we tend to see a correction in the market leading to adverse trends. So, if we see a bullish trend tomorrow and Tuesday, we're likely to see a bearish trend Wednesday to make up for the overreaction. Adversely, if the trend is bearish tomorrow and Tuesday, it will likely be bullish on Wednesday. With that said, make a plan to follow these trends, purchasing calls if the price moves up and puts if it moves down.
The Rest Of The Week – From Wednesday, anything is possible. Nonetheless, historically, we tend to see strong trends throughout the entire week of the Worldwide Developers Conference. So, watch the trends closely and make educated trades based on what you see.
